NBA 19-20 Predictions

Making prediction for A NBA season is not about just guessing, it’s basically a kind of study based on a lot of information, which includes the players’ transfers, the drafts, the injuries, etc…
It is about figuring out which players will fit and adapt in their new teams, and with new teammates, especially super-star players. It is also about looking at the injuries report and the drafts results …and more.
There are actually 30 teams in the NBA, but there are probably only 8 that have legitimate championship aspirations. However, and to be honest, nobody predicted that the Toronto Raptors would win championship last season, but they did…how! Well many people said that the major reason was Kawhi LEONARD, who is currently playing with Paul GEAORGE for the Clippers.

NBA Champion:

Clippers:

We're talking about Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, who are elite players. This Clippers core group was good defensively without those two, and their addition to this team gives them the ability and the flexibility to shut down the other team's best player.
in addition of the Head coach Doc Rivers, who has championship experience, so really all of the pieces are there for this team to make a legit run at a title.

Lakers:
The lakers on the other hand got Anthony DAVIS, with Lebron JAMES and other expertise players forming a solid group,  which make them also a favorite team to win the title.

Bucks:
Giannis Antetokounmpo won league MVP at only 24 years old and will be one of the leading candidates again this year. The Bucks led the league in margin of victory, rebounds and points per game.
They did lose a few pieces from last year's team, but the core group of Giannis, Khris Middleton and Eric Bledsoe remain.

                                                      Rockets:

One of the most intriguing stories of the season is the relationship between James Harden and Russell Westbrook. These are two of the highest-usage players in the history of the NBA. Now one if not both will have to sacrifice possessions for the greater good of the team.
How will that work? Westbrook can't be a spot-up shooter because, well, he can't shoot. Harden is so ball dominant that Westbrook must do a better job playing off the ball.
All of this is Mike D'Antoni's job to figure out, to find out how to benefit from these skilled players, and if it works then it’s going to be hard on any other team to go against the Rockets.

76ers:
image of nba teamIt could be argued that the Sixers have the best starting five in the league (Ben Simmons, Josh Richardson, Tobias Harris, Al Horford, Joel Embiid). They certainly have the biggest group, and the defensive potential that this five has is scary. The Sixers should be really good on offense, too, although outside shooting could be an issue.
Richardson should really benefit from his new role. He can be a solid perimeter stopper and secondary playmaker. As for Horford, his basketball IQ and defense automatically make this team better. He is also a great passer who will help encourage better ball movement. The Sixers should be able to get Embiid more rest now that they have another capable big man in Horford.

Dark horses:

                                                    The Nuggets:

offer great value as a dark horse NBA pick, finishing second in the Western Conference last season after winning 54 games. They aren't getting as much buzz this year because of the improvements the two Los Angeles teams made. As for their chances at winning an NBA title, the main problem is the consistency of the pieces outside of Nikola Jokic. Starting guard Jamal Murray will be worth watching, as he just signed a massive $170 million extension this past summer.

The Jazz:
are another team with a ton of buzz after a busy offseason. In comes Mike Conley and Bojan Bogdonavic to strengthen a very good group of players. The Jazz are still a longshot to win the NBA title, but they have the type of defense to make noise. If they maintain that defensive identity, this team has an outside shot at making a deep playoff run.

NBA changes this season (trades,drafts,injuries)

NBA 2019-2020

Everyone agrees that NBA is so competitive this season, big shows, great games and incredible numbers, but what has really made that happened? What changes made it different from last seasons?

Well, there is many things that contributed to this season’s competition, most of these things were totally unexpected, especially after that NBA fans got used to that 'WARRIORS' finals scenario.

The first and major points of these changes are ‘the trades’, which were unexpected and totally unpredictable. Transfers like Kevin DURANT and Kyrie IRVING to the NETS and the ones of Russel WESBROOK to the ROCKETS and Anthony DAVIS to the LAKERS and especially the ones of Paul GEORGE and Kawhi LEAONARD to the CLIPPERS, all those transfers and more have made a huge impact on this 2019-2020 NBA season.

In fact, this season’s trades gave some kind of close levels of performance to almost all the teams, but to be perfectly honest, even the drafts had an impact, because of the high levels of the rookies, such as the No. 1 overall pick in NBA Draft 2019 Zion Williamson, and Ja Morant selected by the Grizzlies with the second overall pick.

Another reason that had an impact on this season is injury, a really bad impact. However, a new basketball season unfortunately often means a new set of injuries, and the worst NBA injuries of 2019 are proofs that the game of basketball can be hard on athletes' bodies. Whether they are missing few games or the injury turns out to be season ending, no competitor, team, or fan wants to miss a player’s performance.

Some of the most important injuries in the 2019-20 season are those suffered by players at the end of last season. Players like Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson will miss significant time (probably the whole season) after getting injured in the NBA Finals. Meanwhile, Paul George is recovering from a shoulder injury and will miss at least the first two weeks of the new year.

Other players suffered injuries less serious but just as important to keep an eye on, particularly preseason foot injuries suffered by players like Willie Cauley-Stein and Kyle Kuzma. Moreover, Zion Williamson injured his knee and the NBA world was forced to wait for one of the most highly anticipated debuts in recent basketball history.
